Need help on Visual Basic Coding

Hey codingforums im in a little dilemma. Im thinking about making a text editor like M$ Word and open office. now im gonna need the following codes for the basic layout.

Open
Save
Save As
Copy
Cut
Paste

Also is it possible to where i can select what file types they can save as?

the file class in .net 4 framework should be fine for your needs...

You basically set the file "path" when you create the file
