I'm a german web designer and I have just finished a project (not my first one though).
Since I really don't know many web designers, I kindly ask you cracks out there to have a look at my site and tell me, what I could improve code wise... Are there any major no-gos, or thinks I should wrap my head around more thoroughly?
Please have a look at www.funky-flair.de
Page is live already and the customers like it a lot.

i can get the website just fine.
I like the site.
However, I dont like the lettering on the tabs. Could you shift it up a smidgen so its not slammed down at the bottom?
also did you validate the page at w3validator?

could you please provide a screenshot?
The thing is, that somehow google's chrome doesn't display the li a in the right place. I had to hack that by adding a false line height... Have a look at my code, in the css, its marked with a comment "chrome hack"...
Otherwise does the menu look right on my machine in IE8&9, FF8&9, Chrome16, my Laptop and my HTC.
Here is a screeny:

The design looks OK. Unfortunately I can not
understand the laguage, so I have no
idea what it's about.

yeah, on your screenshot it looks right, on my chrome it doesn't, but it's a minor flaw.
It's a nice site. And google translate translated it no problem for me.
HTML validates just fine

Looks nice, I like the fact that you've kept it simple yet it still looks good.
