Hey guys,

Im trying to move into the asp.net world and i have started by using google "how to use asp.net" and i came across this http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/how-to-install-iis-on-windows-vista/.

I have install and when i go to http://localhost i get the correct page it says but im not sure what to do from there how or where do i put my created files and how do i view them sorry about the basic question but i seem to be confused.

did you go to iis? you do not need to "goto" localhost" you ned to goto iis management and see if there is a default site- if it's running- etc.

i am at http://www.iis.net/ and im not sure what to do from there, any help would be great.

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools\iis manager

what does that look like? do you have a default site? is it running? what framework is it running under? there is a lot to setting up iis and you may need to get a book or find someone locally who is more xp'd at it- it can be a pain
