I have inherited a domain name from a friend and I was thinking of designing a site around about it.

Sounds simple, huh? Well content and subject matter is causing a slight problem - meaning that I cant think of anything to put on there!

Whats required is a new idea. Any suggestions???

You could fill it up with tonnes of adverts, and try to generate some money...

Anyway, without knowing the domain name, it is hard to tell what would suit it.

If it is the one on your signature, then I would go with something along the lines of an online art sect.

a sit-back-and-surf site ?
you go to the homepage and then you just wait. The site automatically redirects you to another page/site, pauses a few seconds (pagespeciffic pausing ?) and then redirects etc etc etc You can just sit back and get randomly surfed over the web. I wonder where you could end up. I wouldn't even mind the sporadical add in between, as long as they automatically close/redirect.
You could even work with categorys (to make it a bit less random) and have people submit url's of pages they find worth visiting.

Could be a disappointing experiece, but since you don't seem to have anything else to do, so that i can know what it feels like.
Maybe there's even a small market for it (for PC's that are running in the background of films or so)
<edit>or for hands-free erotica surfing :rolleyes: , which could even get you some real trafic and profit</edit>

Freedom is overrated. It's not something to get really hooked on, but there might be quite a few people that wan't to experience it once, and if you ad those up... (Like the blank-page hype)

was only stuck there the other day when i was fixing my stats database as it wouldnt update properly. not had chance to remove it yet.


the domain name is "whatsinmypocket" - not that that really matters because theres nothing there at the mo, and the name is kinda universal-ish anyway.
