I am tryin to make a program for windows vista,XP and windows 7.

It is going to have plugins from:

Facebook,
Twitter,
Skype,
MSN,
Flicker,
Time + Date. (from your computer)

And this is what I want it to do;

You make an account with me,
You sign in,
You connect all your FaceBook, Twitter ECT. Then every time you sign in with your account with me they will always be there without logging in to everyone.

You can look at status use FB chat and most things with everything.
With Skype you can video call people.
And all of "It is going to have plugins from" will do nearly the same as the real thing in the browser or in a program.

So how would you program that? any help would be grate.
Please Help :confused:
Thanks
Zac Orehawa

I don't think you can really merge Skype to a program; not really. For things that are web-based, you may want to look for their API; they generally use something called REST to set and get data. For getting the time+date of your computer, you can literally Google that phrase and find lots of relevant results.

You have not mentioned what programming language you are going to use...

Yes but that is PHP, which I don't think you're really looking for. PHP is generally a web-based language, meaning you can't create things like a new window and fill it with buttons and such. You may want to look into the introduction of programming for one of the following languages (due to their being High Level Languages): Visual Basic / Visual C# / Java / etc

Programming the GUI for them, I heard, is not too difficult (though for Java it may be slightly more difficult). That is the most I can tell you at this context. If you are a beginner programmer, it may be even more difficult for you to create your desired program. Start out small, then grow big.

you need to pick a language and do it according to that language.. all of these are date time features in different languages

string cat = string.Format("My cat died {0:MM/dd/yyy} at {0:hh.mm.ss}", DateTime.Now());

var date = new Date();

declare @mydate as date = getdate()

i think that's great- I do C# and am working in Java now as well. keep in mind Java is not nearly the same thing though as Javascript :)

I think you should do Visual Basic. A friend of mine told me his Professor said it was extremely easy to make any GUI with it. Simplicity is what you should seek right now.

I did visual basic in college, making a calculator with it and such. But I never really liked it. Yes it was simple, but it always seemed very limited, and, in my opinion anyway, not worth learning.
