I am looking to find someone who has experience in creating custom review sites. This review site is for a narrow niche market and not for the general public.

I need to be able to
import names and info on review subjects

provide a fun and interactive process for reviewing subjects

implement a custom review process (no stars or one to ten ratings please)

tie a moderated forum to the site

have someone who could do the coding and implement

and help me with the design aspect

make this site subscriber based (not free) and link to payment system

block the reviews from search engines

build a platform where paid subscribers provide the info


I am NOT looking for the absolute cheapest work
I am looking for more of a long term partner (that gets paid)

you need to have good communication skills and be able to understand our vision

you will need to be able to think outside the box

this is a narrow niche regional website that will be expanded nation wide

you must be able to build the website and be available for ongoing needs (at least a year or two)

prefer someone that has built custom review sites

the funding is in place (this is NOT a pipe dream with no $)

we are on a limited budget but I am looking for VALUE

we are based out of St. Louis MO

prefer someone who can help with all aspects of the website and has experience

please let me know what you can offer and how you like to work (get paid etc)

these are small business

can we import info from other websites (yahoo local or ?)
or do I need to buy a database

As far as information, my suggestion is to hit your local public library. They have an information system that you can use to get business information (address, contact, etc) that's the same info as infousa.com, but free! You can search by SIC code to narrow your results.
