MMA Website review

I have another website I want to get some feedback for, the link is a jpg not the a live preview http://bit.ly/un6HzY I'm building a MMA website for fun and also maybe generate a new revenue source.

I feel pretty good about the design but I would appreciate feedback from other designers. The one thing that I know could look better is the font size and family

This is just the first draft not the final design, I may change the name for brand purposes so I didn't really give the logo much attention

I don't recommend showing a unfinished website. It's a free css template as well. The top lettering is very dark, that needs to be much lighter.

How about making a large background image that is 90% transparent? Like an MMA fighter slamming down another MMA fighter. It'd be like a ghost image.

Do something with the Home, About, Contact and Advertise text at the top, too skinny and plain. I think make them button links to really make it jump out better.

It's still got a ways to go.
