I am wanting to create a page on my website where visitors can post feedback so it appears on the same page as the form. Any clue on where to begin? my minds drawing a total blank on this one...any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Also I am doing the site in css and html..

I realise its going to be a html form im just unsure of what the form action would be to place the text submitted into a table below.

Cant be done with just a static html form.

If you're wanting the user to type in the textarea, and then have what they typed in display on the same page without a page refresh, then ajax would be needed. Ajax allows page "changes" to take place without sending the page back to your server and refreshing the page.

I want it to refresh the page first before it displays it, will it still need to be done using ajax?

I think what "teedoff" meant was what to be displayed on the page after the form is submitted. My suggestion for you, in order to get a clear image of what you need, is to use a web form building wizard, such as 123ContactForm or Formassembly. I use the first one successfully, it completely automates the process of form submitting and also allows you to tweak the codes if you want.

This could be done in PHP, but that means database work and I'm not sure if you would be willing to do that or not. If you do want to give it a shot, I can give you a PHP snippet and the SQL dump.
