What screen resolutions are people running here?
I am developing a website and the website diamiter is 1280 x 720. It seems the most popular is 1280 x 1024.
Do you think I have made a bad choice?

I'm 3840x1200. This browser window is opened around 1400x1135.

Who cares what screen resolution people are running when it comes to web page design. The web page displays in the browser viewport which is a completely different size from the screen resolution. People with large screen resolutions will tend to use the window-arrow keys in Windows 7 to put two programs side by side on their screen so likely their browser will take up exactly half their screen width (less that used by the browser itself).
My screen resolution is HD (1920x1080) so with the browser taking up half the width web pages have 958 pixels to display in. Of course while that will probably be the most common width in the future it will probably still be used in less than 10% of cases. Web pages need to cater for the viewport being anywhere between 200px and 20000000px in width.

felgall, your inexperienced with computer trends. 99% of people browse the internet using their browser full screen, therefore I do care what screen resolution people use, because it gives me an idea of what dimensions to use for my webpage.
