test speed

Whichever gui I try for running queryies it works lik this:
1.first run, takes like 5 sec
2.all next emidiate runs of same queriy takes 0,03 sec. (looks like server caches something ?)

How can one then real test query speed ?

so, this:

SET query_cache_type = 0; RESET QUERY CACHE ;


affects this:


SHOW VARIABLES LIKE '%query_cache%'


& affect speed, to be 'slow'
