Just been looking for a free forum that's not so common and I found one called openBB. Just wondering if anyone's used this software? Tired of seeing phpbb, ivb, xmb, etc

Whats the major problem with the common ones? They are common for a reason, they are good. If you want a really good bbs, Just buy a vbulliten liscense.

I do have VB, several lisences on several sites, this isn't for my site, it's for a client that wants a forum that isn't common but is well supported and reliable, hence why I didn't stick phpbb or anything else on

None taken, but I know it's not what I need. It's what my client wants. I've gone through all of this with him before but what can I do? His money will be paying my bills. So back on topic...

Anyone used openbb software before?

No, I have never used openbb, why do you have a specific question on it?
Perhaps you could look at: http://www.lilikoi.com
