Possible to point a sub-domain?

Does anyone know if it is possible to point a subdomain using 301 redirect?

Short answer, Yes.

Long answer, what are you actually trying to do? A sub-domain is simply another URI, there is nothing stopping you redirecting to or from a sub-domain.
