Hi everyone
I started my web based company. It provides services like helping people get their projects done and stuff. I would like to get some feedback on the same. Does the site look professional. Could anyone suggest useful sites where I can advertise to get people to post projects on the site. I have no idea about marketing to the right audience. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Well, you first are missing a doc type. After that you don't specify the character encoding.

After that, you have a ton of coding errors.

With a XHTML 1.0 Transitional doc type you have 610 errors just on your front page.

See: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thesoftwareobjects.com%2F&charset=iso-8859-1+%28Western+Europe%29&doctype=XHTML+1.0+Transitional

You should also move that javascript marquee into an external .js file.

The page is about 2020 pixels wide. :(

More constructive - I think you should describe what the site is about better. "Website programmer resources for freelance web site development and custom computer programming." is a mouthful and doesn't really say what it's about. Put a description in plain words right under the heading above the project boxes. :)
