Insert text from excel or notepad

iFrame is too klunky.
I want to be able to ad text between <td> tags in a site. It's for non-html users to update their site without me. The text will vary and it would be cool to add effects like color bg etc.

i actually think the best way to do that would be with an IFrame. it's not all that klunky, and it's easy to use. It doesn't work in netscape 4, but nothing else does either, so that's nothing new. you could probably rig up some javascript to do it, but that wouldn't be nearly as simple as just making a separate html file to be included.
