[Mods, please move this if it's better off in the MySQL forum]

Hi,

Just got a new cobalt RaQ4, with ChiliSoft ASP and MySQL pre-installed. Trying to move one of out sites (functional, but in development) from a RaQ3 to this new one. I've set up the database in MySQL, and all the appropriate usernames, passwords, etc. modified my connection string, but get this little gremlin:

___________
ADODB.Connection.1 error '80004005'

SQLState: IM003
Native Error Code: 80
Specified driver could not be loaded
-----------------

Using Driver={MySQL} in the connection string. This must be a set-up problem on the ASP side, right? The driver is there, but maybe something's missing. Been trying for ages to figure out what.

Any ideas?

Much appreciated,

Hmm. Read this thread. I had a few problems making DNS-less connections to MySQL in ASP. The quick fix was to uninstall the MyODBC version i had (3.52 or so) and install MyODBC 2.5

Or check out the connectionstrings and info here
