When you build a PC, and you buy all parts seperately, what do you use get it up and running?

Obviously when you buy everything the hard drive will be blank, and you won't have a boot disk created from a previous operating system, so how do you get it so that you can install windows and recognise the drivers for the very first time?

Depending upon the operating system, you usually can boot-up and install from the cd... If, however, you need a boot disk, you can always rely on http://bootdisk.com/

Thanks, I'll check out that site.

I will need to reformat my hard drive and it won't let me create a boot disk, and it was a custom built PC so didn't come with any manufacturer boot disks as most PC do.
