Creating a Board

Hello there all,

I need some help. Maybe you guys and gays can help me out. I want to create some type of message board in html. What would be the best way to approach this. I am pretty confedent in html but I don't want to use mysql or php. Is there a way I can create a board with access with out the support of IIS and Apache? This board will be used on a network.

You must use a server-side language such as PHP or Perl.

But there a lot of free scripts which you can use or adapt.

And you would need to have a web server like IIS or Apache, they aren't a big deal, they are both free and realativily easy to use.

Try looking at www.hotscripts.com

they should have some pre-made ones. Ikonboard is another decent free one too.

The one i use which is free bord and is good for having control over your posts and also the admin area as well is www.invisionboard.com take a look see what you think.
