installing Kazza will change the localhost director FROM where it was in phpdev (http://www.firepages.com.au) TO kazza/myshared directory.
So how do I get the localhost to point to the www folder in phpdev again, I will want to be able to swap between these if i am to continue using Kazza i guess.
trying to run .php programs by putting them in the Kazza localhost directory does not work.

Kazaa acts as a server like your apache server so it is defaulting to port 80 and I don't know if you can change the default port in kazaa but you can in apache. Doing so will require that you specify the port number when viewing web pages through apache though.
Easy solution though is....Don't run Kazaa while you are running PHPDEV and vice versa.
Also this is not a PHP issue so I will move it to a more appropriate forum for software questions.....

are you using an HTTP tunneling program? if so then youll have to stop using kazaa when you use apache, or just change apaches port, if its only a test server it soldnt matter much
