Hi All,

Im a bit of a newbie to this so be nice!

I have a problem with css styling. i am setting up a website and i have declared in my style.css file that alll hyperlinks should be color:#333 with no text-decoration. in ie6 this works perfectly but in safari and ie9 (only others i have tested) the css doesnt take over and they revert to underlined blue links. Can anyone see why? any explanation, guidance and feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there pundabuyer,

and a warm welcome to these forums. ;)

Your problem is caused by a stray curly bracket "}" highlighted in red here...

body,th {
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color:#333;
background-image:url(LimeBarcode.png);
background-repeat:repeat-x;
border:thin}
}
