I am editing a Tool-tip script in GWD Text Editor, and saving the bulk of it as a .js file to clean up my tangle of tags in my source code. Lately, whenever I save the .js file, it automaticly comes up with a filename of the same name only with a .bak extension instead! I know that a .bak means that it is saving a MS-Dos backup...but do I really need it in my webfile, and do I need to upload it onto my server? Or, can I just simply delete it to save space?

Thanks!

It's just a backup file of the file you've saved, I disable that fetaure as it's pointless for me having backups when I keep the file stored on my pc anyway.

So, yes you can delete it if you want to save space, etc.
It's not required for anything to work.
