It's in the CSS file located at this URL:

Check lines 867-877:

.wp-caption .wp-caption-text:before {
color: #666;
content: '\2014';
font-size: 14px;
font-style: normal;
font-weight: bold;
margin-right: 5px;
position: absolute;
left: 10px;
top: 7px;

i understand that the CSS code is in the CSS file, but what HTML element is it hooked on to? i don't see anything with this class (.wp-caption .wp-caption-text:before).

On the general services page, this is one culprit:

<p class="wp-caption-text">Photography</p>

But if you get rid of that one there are still two more (set design and lighting blueprint).

Similar story on the other page. Just look at any of your image captions. They are going to be the offenders.

Note that the :before part is a pseudoclass for CSS. You will never actually see the :before part in the HTML, just as you do not see a :hover part for any links. The :before part just tells the CSS to make the styles appear BEFORE the matching element.
