Hi there -
On this page:
http://alexandraschmidt.com/writing.html
half of the image on the right side of the page is being blocked off by white. You can see that the browser is still recognizing the links in the white field if you roll over, and if you look at other pages on the site, like http://alexandraschmidt.com/audio.html , you can see the image being recognized properly.
I previously had another image on the writing page that was being recognized perfectly -- I am attaching it to this message. It is identical to this image in terms of size, resolution, etc, except that the new image currently on the site has some additional color blocks on it. I am not sure why that would make any difference.
I have tried comparing the 2 images -- the one that works and the one that doesn't -- in every way, but I cannot see anything different!

Any help very, very much appreciated. I am stumped.

Thank you -
-alex.

Hi hyperballad,
I see something that looks like the intended image:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19499500/WhatISee.jpg

I'm using Firefox 5.0

Yes, that is what I see also, and it is cut off halfway down. The problem is, only have of the image is showing up. If you scroll over the white part below it, you will see that it is still recognizing links on the image map that should be showing up.

it is not cut off. the image itself is missing half of the image. the bottom half appears to be transparent. firebug will show you this very easily.

Dan and Jerry. You are both absolutely right. My sincere thanks for pointing out this clueless error. I have no idea how the image got messed up.

Take care!
