Domain Registrar Question

I'm doing some work for someone and they want some info. pertaining to one of their domains changed. The only problem is they don't know who the domain is registered with. My question is if there is any way to find this out.

Go to:

http://www.geektools.com

And click on 'whois'

You can do this at just about any domain registrar. Type in the domain name, such as 'codingforums.com' and click submit, it'll pull up who owns it and where it was registered.
