Display a sidebar hyperlink

Hello.

I'm looking to add a "widget" to a website, but do not want to add to every page. Is there a way to add it to the main page and the entire site displays it. The site has many static pages :mad:

I want to use something like what is displayed on this website: http://www.livezilla.net/home/en/

The live chat link on the left hand side.

depending on the software you're using, you may be able to save a page as a template, then base all your other pages off that. every time you change the template it updates the rest of the pages. or is it too late for that?
