Hello,

I was wondering if someone could tell me how to change the cookie on this piece of code?

I'd like it to put a different cookie for each page it's used on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

/*
* COOKIE FUNCTIONS
*/

function createCookie(name, value, days) {
if (days) {
var date = new Date();
date.setTime(date.getTime() + (days * 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000));
var expires = "; expires=" + date.toGMTString();
}
else var expires = "";
document.cookie = name + "=" + value + expires + "; path=/";
}

function readCookie(name) {
var nameEQ = name + "=";
var ca = document.cookie.split(';');
for (var i = 0; i < ca.length; i++) {
var c = ca[i];
while (c.charAt(0) == ' ') c = c.substring(1, c.length);
if (c.indexOf(nameEQ) == 0) return c.substring(nameEQ.length,

c.length);
}
return null;
}

function eraseCookie(name) {
createCookie(name, "", -1);
}

/*
* END COOKIE FUNCTIONS

I'm curious as to why you would want a different cookie for each page it's used on.

Can you describe what you are trying to do? Not that what you're doing is wrong,
but I think there might be a better way (or a more "normal" way) of doing it.

Typically, you would have the cookie remember the page number (or name).
