View Full Version : In Chrome instead of fixed width, my site covers the entire screen

My website looks fine on Firefox and IE with fixed width on different screen resolutions.
On Chrome instead of having a fixed width, my site covers the entire screen,
even in case of high resolution, and the site seems broken because of it.
How can I fixed this annoying problem?

My website: http://www.gamestoenjoy.com

My CSS file: http://www.gamestoenjoy.com/site/templates/massarbeit/css/template.css

Thanks a lot in advance :)

chrome sets a table to 100%;

try defining a width for the table:

table {
width: 960px;
margin: auto;

Hello ,
you haven't provided the width to your main table so it is not proper in the chrome .
different kinds of browser differently to table element i have made changes to the code
paste this code . i have just added the div before table and provided width and to center it
i used margin 0 auto property.

please find the code here
put this div wrapping your main table

<div style="width:990px;margin:0 auto">
your main table goes here

Thanks a lot!
I added width to the table tag and now my site has fixed width also on Chrome.
