I got a a play/pause button using
<audio src="" controls="controls">
Your browser does not support the audio element.
My question is how do I add a next track button to my site.How would I change the overall appearance of the buttons?

Would you consider the option of using a third-party media player? That is what I would recommend

I thought html5 is powerful when it comes to audio? Changing all the buttons appearance isn't too important to me but can't I just add next track button to the audio tag I already have ? I'd prefer not to use third party but what third party media player do you recommend thats free?

to my knowledge, the HTML <audio> tag does not support a "next" button, the only attributes that can be modified are (autoplay,controls,loop,preload,src) as well as the global and event attributes.
As far as third-party player is concerned, this website here (http://www.instantshift.com/2010/02/10/21-free-music-players-for-your-website/) provides a list, my preference is Dewplayer, as I have used this before and am happy with the features it extends.
