Hi there, I am a current student at Teesside University. I have a large portfolio of freelance jobs on my website:
www.jonathonleggwebdesign.co.uk
If you require a price up, update your website, or brand new start:
contact me via the contact page on my website.
Thanks
jonathon
I know this isn't a request for a site critique so I am not giving one. But....
first impressions are lasting impressions and so I would like to point out what they were.
1. your portfolio section shows nothing of a portfolio.
2. the image on your home page is slightly pixelated
3. the contrast between text color and background isn't high enough, making it harder to read.
4. the validation throws up 24 errors.
5. the contact form looks wrong in FF
So, that's as far as I went in trying to find out about you. Some real promise I think but, if you are going to tell us about your portfolio, we should be able to see it. And your own site should be perfect but for content that is only critical based on opinion. Subject matters, will always exist but some of them in your site are objective/technical.
I am still interested in seeing your portfolio, however. So it isn't all bad.

Thank you very much for your feedback, i have taken this into account and will update this immediately.
I checked my contact page, and it was disgusting! I only checked in netscape, ie and google chrome, therefore i have let myself down. As to the errors, could you post me where you got these from?
Thanks in advance,
Jonathon
yeh. http://validator.w3.org
As many here would say; ALWAYS validate your code many times during the construction process. It helps to make it easier to find reasons for the page looking wierd.

Thanks Bazz, really appreciate this feedback, i have fixed some of the errors, the rest are down to the Facebook plugin, therefore i cannot do anything about otherwise it wont work correctly.
As the validation docs state, try changing your doctype from 'STRICT' to 'TRANSITIONAL'.
