Dunno if the underscore is a problem. I wouldn't imagine it is.

Try copy the form and field name and paste them into your javascript to make sure the case is the same. Form names and there fields are case sensitive.

i finally started delving into the code that lotus is exporting:

<SELECT NAME="CVName">
<OPTION>Ben Richards</OPTION>
<OPTION>David Mann
<OPTION>Emma Dodsworth
<OPTION>Jason Cole
<OPTION>Kevin Lee
<OPTION>Liam Tipler
</SELECT>

spot the mistake ;) what a load of nonsense! not only has the blumin thing not bothered doing values its not even closed the tags! lmao! i just wasted 2 hours on this assuming it was my scripting that was wrong and not notes being poo @ html output!
