Freelance PHP programmer to write script?

Looking for a PHP programmer that can help me write a php script . Need help using PHP to make call to an API.

I need to make API call using PHP and retrieve data using the GET method. Output JSON object, then take that and write to a MySQL database table.

I will compensate if needed.
