Php Vs Jsp

Everyone are talking about OOP, how nice Java is better than C++..

I always wondering, if OOP is so nice, why most people use PHP more than JSP?

JSP is great for OOP however it doesn't run quite as fast as PHP and is not widely available on shared hosting. PHP on the other hand is practically a standard on shared hosting.

what do you mean by Shared hosting?

I am referring to commerical webhosts. Unless you have a dedicated box with a web host then you are using shared hosting meaning more than one site/account is being hosted on a single box.
