Tutorials: Introduction

In order to try and kill off some of the more frequently asked questions in this forum, we've decided to create several tutorials that will explain the relevant matter in detail. There are, of course, several rules:

Firstly, the thread will be left open for all to constructively comment on the material. This does not mean that you can post in that thread with a problem you are having. Doing this will mean your post will get deleted by one of the moderators with no warning.
Secondly, if the tutorial covers what you are asking, then please try and follow this through! If you still cannot get it working, then please post a thread in the MySQL category with detailed information of your problem and we will answer as soon as possible.

Contributors:

I will be keeping this list as concise and updated as possible. These are the people who have given up their free time to create the tutorials. Please do not PM these users directly with any queries or questions. Doing so may get you banned.

Sites of interest

Here are some sites that any serious programmer should have bookmarked!

The MySQL Manual (http://www.mysql.com/doc/)
MySQL Data Manipulation (http://www.mysql.com/doc/D/a/Data_Manipulation.html) - Using SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE DELETE etc..
PHP: MySQL Functions (http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.mysql.php) - The PHP functions for use with MySQL

Please feel free to comment on the scripts, and if anyone would like to write an article they feel is needed here, then please PM me. You may also rate a tutorial by using the "Rate This Thread" drop-down menu on the bottom right hand side of the page.

Thanks
