Passing data between servers

We run 2 servers with different domain names.

What we need to do is send a form
post from server 1 and create a new user account on server 2 without the new user filling out the form again.

Would it be possible, say using cookies, to store the acoount info from server 1 and retrieve it when the user is directed to server 2?

I don't believe you can do that since they are different domains. This sounds more like a server side question then a javascript one. Try asing it over their. Could you not just change the action field in the form tag to point to the server side script on server 2?
