Hey,

After trying to code myself a bit (with some php manuals right next to me) and with limited succes, I started to look around for some scripts that I might be able to tweak but sofar I haven't really found what I am looking for on the internet. I might just be searching with the wrong keywords.

I got a very specific site concept in mind (for a a friend thats getting married). She would like to have a simple site where you as guest can click on an image (a gift) and then a form would popup where you can enter some information and the amount of money you would like to give for this gift.

What I have done sofar:

- I've set up a database with 2 tables:
*one with personal information of the guests (submitted through the forms: Name, E-mail, Amount you want to give, Message)
*one with information concerning the gifts (Name, price, imageURL, Ö)
- Afterwards I have Ďtriedí to create a simple form to submit the information of the guest into the 2 tables, nothing special here and I hope I can figure this one out with some testing.

What Iím really looking for is a nice script to show the list of gifts (with images) and the option to mention a price (and description) next to each gift. If you click on the gift (image or name) the form mentioned above should be shown.

I looked around but couldnít really find a script that looks like this, maybe one of you guys can point me in the right direction?

Thxs a lot!

Plenty of scripts like that on the web; any tutorials on SQL with regards to PHP will serve your purposes as all you're doing in selecting data from the database and posting them on the site. All you'd need to to is modify the SELECT statement and change the way data is displayed on your site.

If you click on the gift (image or name) the form mentioned above should be shown.

After the above has been completed, when you're displaying the name/image, simply enclose them in a <a href="http://www.mysite.com/gift1.php"> tag which will lead users to the gift's form page.
