I recently tried to connect to my outlook using my cpanel email with my outgoing an incoming server as mail.consolediscussions.com
All my other domains work, and I know what I did wrong. I just don't know how to fix it.
I recently created a subdomain called mail.consolediscussions.com which is linked to the mail folder on my ftp.
I deleted it and the folder, yet the mail server will not come back up. I can still access /webmail.

When cPanel creates the mail.* subdomain it's just CNAME'd to the main domain's IP. Your mail.consolediscussions.com points to a different IP altogether. That is probably why it isn't working. In order for cPanel to handle your mail & DNS your nameservers have to be pointed to the cPanel server, which it looks like they are. So, assuming you want your mail hosted on the server, all you should have to do is remove the mail.* subdomain if you have it setup, and update your DNS A record for mail.consolediscussions.com to point to @ or 18.104.22.168. You should see other records in there like ftp.* pointed to the same place which you can use for reference. Don't forget that this is just one piece of the puzzle. You still have to actually have the mail server setup, and have an account which Outlook can connect to with POP or IMAP.

22.214.171.124 is probably the result of a typo.
That's an IP address you'll get as an A Record in lieu of "NXDomain" if you're using a Comcast HSD recursive DNS server employing DNS redirection (aka "Domain Helper").
