It's nice to take a break from serious niches and just have a fun blog that talks about nightlife, let me know what you think and anything I can do to improve the site

In general, i liked your website, but you should ride away at pages loading time. I even stuck in a page and couldn't go anywhere.
Also the header and footer color seemed to me too dark, in comparison with whole color combination. A a grey font looks not so readable, too.
But still good job!

Could you tell what pages were slow for you and where you got stuck, also
what do you mean by the grey text, are you talking about only in the footer?

Wow, I actually love the design!

A few things I would change:

• I don't like how the white space on the outside of the slideshow goes black every time the slide changes. It seems too distracting.

• The dropdown boxes could be a bit darker to fit the header better.

• The forward/next buttons on the slideshow should point left/right in my opinion. At first I wasn't sure what to click to change slides.

• The alignment of some of the boxes gets out of whack, which annoys my inner OCD self: http://i54.tinypic.com/2qxnfvs.jpg

• A favicon wouldn't hurt!

Yep, they're even now. Much better.

According to the W3C validator at http://validator.w3.org/check?charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0&uri=http://sicknight.com/, you have over 100 errors in your coding. I think you should think about fixing them.

the rest are from the facebook like box and one of my plugins that I have to use

well... as to grey font, it's light in slideshow and those info boxes where "posted by" goes.
