Dialup does not remeber my password

Just a few days ago I started using Mozilla Firebird and with it I cannot manually enter my internet password. So I have to start the IE connection program. The thing is that in the normal dialup - my password is not remebered! Instead I get a long line of ************* (which is not my password).

Can someone please help me?

Btw, whats the difference between the normal Mozilla and Firebird?

That may actually be your password. I assume that you are using windows XP and the same problem occurs on my freinds XP system too. Try using that password to sign on. I think that it changes the number of *'s as a security feature.

tell you pc not to remember your password and exit your dialup box. then go to dialup as you would normally and type in your password and check the box remember my password.
