check boxes not visible in GC and IE

Was trying with z-index, no success. OK in FF.

Nope. Same thing.
That is, type button gets border, checbox not.

Even if I force my style border to exact group of inputs (.select .dropddown input, .selectImg .dropddown input)
it applays only to input of type button ('close'), and not to checkboxes.

Um.. seems like that height:100%; is the culprit.
