So I have been trying to work with this nav bar and i have most of the quirks worked out but for some reason the links view as being smaller until selected then they all snap the the full size of what i want them to always be. :(

website is
i-andrew.info

i have put up my most recent files but i personally cannot see this due to blocks where i am. So "I" am looking at the local files.

I am still kind of new at all this.

Thanks,
Andrew

There is a lot of help here. (http://www.exitfegs.co.uk/Sources.html)

Use the Search facility. Single words often work best.

But we do need to see your code to help you.
Or better still, a link to your site.

Hello AndrewLi,
Your menu is getting styled from several places. You have issues with how you direct your CSS toward anchors.
This bit quoted here makes the active state of all links take on this styling -

#footerNav a:link,a:active,a:visited
{/*display:block;*/
width:100px;
height:25px;
/*background:#85A5CC;
border:1px solid #000000;*/
margin-top:2px;
text-align:center;
text-decoration:none;
font-family:arial;
color:#08A828;
line-height:25px;
overflow:hidden;
float:left;}

For that to apply to only anchors in the footer it would need to look more like this - #footerNav a:link, #footerNav a:active, #footerNav a:visited

Does that make sense?
See specificity here (http://www.htmldog.com/guides/cssadvanced/specificity/) for more a more in depth explanation at directing CSS styling.
