Hey I have a new problem. I am not really too sure how I can change the width of the sidebars. I can't find it actually.

But I think that the sidebars aren't really in a DIV?

Here is the link:

And here is the stylesheet.css:

Hope you guys can figure it out?

Hello OGGordon,
I think if you widen out .span-5 your columns get wider. You will also need to widen .container enough to accomodate them.

Try something like this -

.container {
/*width:950px;*/
width: 1000px;
margin:0 auto;
}
.span-5 {
/*width:190px;*/
width: 215px;
}

Hello Excavator,

where do you see container and .span-5? I typed it in the search function and can't find it.

What I want to do is to increase the size of both sidebars but decrese the content area. But I can't find where I can change the sidebars and the content area or am I retarded? haha

The FireFox plugin FireBug makes it very easy to find all this. Get firebug here (http://getfirebug.com/). It's very easy to learn how to use too, only a short learning curve.

In your markup the layout looks like this:

<div id="contentwrap" class="span-24">

<div class="span-5"></div>
<div class="span-14"></div>
<div class="span-5 last"></div>
</div>

The width of the left and right columns is set by .span-5
Liine #102 in screen.css

The width of the center column is set by .span-14
Line #111 in screen.css

Thanks for both the heads up on the plugin and the correct style.css. I finally was able to change it :).

Just one more question, how can I change the textlink color for the right sidebar? I want it to be white but I'm not sure how I can.

It adopts the color information in the style.css on line 389:

.sidebar a {
text-decoration: none;
color: #3B5998;

}

Can I make a DIV specify the color just for that one div on the right?
