I just coded up a simple file hosting (http://www.clicknhost.com) site. Well, image AND file hosting.

Supposed to be quick, clean and simple to use

Site: http://www.clicknhost.com

Any feedback is appreciated

I think you need a rollover button. Have it change to green or something just to highlight the call to action.

What's the difference between the viewing link and a direct link?

No "copy to clipboard" feature.

No obvious information on how long the file stays up for.

Also, for all of your input buttons, I'd recommend adding cursor: pointer; to the style. Many users won't associate an input as being a button unless they see some sort of visual cue, such as a rollover (as mentioned above) or a pointer.

I like the concept, and the layout is clean and to the point.

As garabildi mentioned, a Copy to Clipboard feature would be nice. It's not easy to implement, and requires flash. This may shed some light if you want to implement it: http://davidwalsh.name/clipboard.

Another fancy feature, if you want to add some extra goodies, would be an AJAX progress bar during upload. A popular one is the jQuery plugin "Uploadify," which you can see here: http://www.uploadify.com/.

Again, it's always refreshing to see a nice clean layout! Best of luck with your project.

Thanks for the feedback.

The cursor issue, I did add it but it's not displaying due to the ajax upload plugin I used, it's somehow overwriting it. I'll see if I can figure it out.

As for the clipboard, what exactly are we copying to clipboard? The site uploads "ANY" filetype, I thought clipboard is mainly for text?

The copy to clipboard would be for the links generated after the upload. So I could click a button which would copy the URL for the image I just uploaded to my clipboard.
