Hi everybody!

I got a problem which i can't find the problem with, I have checked my stylesheet and can't just see it.

Our page works just fine with every webbrowser except for IE8, haven't checked IE7,IE9 though either. However the header goes into the contents, which it shouldn't!

I attached a pic how it does, you can also check the site at:

All help to fix this issue with IE8 asap will be appreciated!!

Hello RaceForGlory,
When you absolutely position your .header that element is removed from the natural flow of the document so it has no influence on .contentLayout. Adding a top margin to .contentLayout should put it in the right place.

Try making your CSS look like this -

/* begin ContentLayout */
.contentLayout
{
margin: 150px 0 5px;
overflow: auto;
position: relative;
}

Read about the pitfalls of absolute positioning here (http://www.tyssendesign.com.au/articles/css/absolute-positioning-pitfalls/).

Thank you very much, that pretty much did it. However may i be a pain to ask for your assistance yet again?

Another problem occured after the fix. Never thought absolute positioning would be that complicated!

The navi bar went above my header, so the sub menus goes over the header which might not be so good.
