Is there a way to use the border-bottom Property on linked text on my website on hover, WITHOUT it affecting animated rollover .gif's?

I can't seem to figure it out.

Hello freshfan,
I'm sure there is. A better question would be why it's affecting your animated .gifs and then give us some code so we could see how you're applying your border.

When posting code in the forum, please use the code tags,

- available with the # button in the post edit window.
This will wrap your code in a scroll box which greatly helps the readability of your post.

A link to the test site would even be better.

Sorry, it's affecting my rollover gif's.

Is there a place to put "border bottom" besides under "hover" if I want it to appear on rollover?

Excavator asked you to post code, so why are you asking anyone?

If you put a border on an anchor and it also affects other elements then you're just not being specific enough. Give that anchor an id or class and try again.
See about specificity here (http://www.htmldog.com/guides/cssadvanced/specificity/).
