Forums being marked as read...

If I come into the main page of the forum and go to say the html/css forum and am in there for awhile, even though there are new posts in other forums when I first arrive, when I go back to the home page they are all marked as read. Is there a setting that is doing this or is it a "bug"? I do have cookies turned on.

If your session expires, it assumes you left and it marks all forums read.

The session expires after about 15 minutes of inactivity.

Ok. Is there a setting for that I can change?

Also, I have found that due to what I think is browsering caching, sometimes when I hit the back button to go back to the home page I am served up a cached version. Thus I just press Ctrl+F5 and refresh the page to the current version. This seems to work for me most of the time.

I do not use the "back" button at all. I use the links at the top of the page(breadcrumbs I think) to go back into the forum and to the home page once I have entered the site.

ps I also looked at my user controls and there is no way to change the session time that I can find....
