Is there a way to write a script that will automatically give amazon a search field and then scan through the results?

I'm sure they have a cut/paste JavaScript search

Not been to amazon for ages now, so I can't remember how their search works, but can't you just copy their search form and put it on your site?

Amazon provides a web service that exactly fits your request. There is already a ready-made PHP implementation you can use:

P.S: I don't want to sound lecturing, but this link is the _first_ hit upon searching Google for "php amazon search"... ok, I admit I knew of that script, and knew that a search would yield a good result, but anyways. Google is such a wonderful instrument. :)
