for one click two actions ?

I have the problem that, i want to populate the two fields on one ajax click.That means can i populate when i want to click on the list box it should populate two fields. :(

If no code, is hard to give an answer.
Maybe you can solve with:

document.getElementById('field1_id').value = 'some value';
document.getElementById('field2_id').value = 'other value';
