I had someone help me setup a forum because I have no idea how to create a database and so on. I have had nothing but problems try to figure out how to use mysql. I for some reason can't even connet to it. Now on my forum I am getting a datbase error and I don't knwo how to fix it. I have been doing nothing but reading of books and documents. Still no idea what the heck I am doing nor can I figure out how to fix my problem. Would some please just give me a lettle help explaing how this program work in simple terms for the slow person (myself) Thanks for youe time.

Have you tried phpMyAdmin, you can ask your host , maybe they have it preinstalled for you. You can check it out here
