View Full Version : Page Wrap, and table margins

I'm looking to improve how my first website looks, and I want to add a Page Wrap around the page and have all my contents (aside from a couple of things like a Banner) inside the wrap. I've looked around some and couldn't find anything that worked. Also does anyone know what I could do for table margins from the wall of the page until the text starts? What I have is causing it to have double spacing with the margin.

Hello Janek,

The website itself is http://madisoneastxc.tk/
And the code for the table page is

2010 Madison East Boys Cross Country Team

Team Expectations

Congratulations! You have made a commitment to be on a team that represents Madison East High School. Here are some simple expectations for the season.

BE AT PRACTICE

During the school year, meet AFTER SCHOOL in the forum

Some Saturdays when we do not have a meet, expect to practice

Wednesdays early release - stay tuned for when those practices will be.

Don't be late

Be dressed and ready at 3:45, by 3:50, captain-led warm-up should begin

Run off season! Talk to your coach/captain and find out when the off season practices are. Or even check the News & Event page for when/where practices are held.

If you need to be absent for academic or family reasons, your absences need to be cleared with a coach. You can...

make a direct phone call (see phone numbers below)

talk to a coach directly

send a message through the computer - facebook message or email

If absent for family reason, need a message from a parent to a coach for absence to be cleared.

If absent for academic reason, need a note/message from your teacher to a coach

Make a goal for NO UNEXCUSED absences because...

1 UNEXCUSED = sit the next meet, contact parents

2 UNEXCUSED = sit next 2 meets, contact parents

3 UNEXCUSED = return uniform, contact parents

BE POSITIVE AND RESPECTFUL

To each other (use positive language, encourage each other, refrain from swearing) (THIS INCLUDES FACEBOOK photos and dialogue is RESPECTFUL at all times)

To both teams (the girls are a part of your team too! All members deserve your support and respect)

To coaches, parents, opposing teams, community (always remember that you represent Madison East - be proud of this representation)

To yourself - good nutrition/hydration and stay away from illegal substances (the second could cause an automatic expulsion from the team)

BE READY TO PRACTICE AND PRACTICE WELL representing EAST!!

Obey all traffic signs, ALWAYS give a car the right-of-way and NEVER ASSUME a driver sees you - BE SAFE!!!

Wear a digital watch - all workouts require one

Wear proper shoes and clothing. Movin Shoes on Park Street is an excellent place to go for a pair of running shoes, but please see a coach if you are unable to purchase a pair of shoes

Think about your season goals daily. Post them in a place that you will see throughout the day.

Practice and perform according to your goals. (More to follow with season/career goals.)

This sport is challenging and demands your diligence. Like most things in life, you'll get out of it what you put into it. Make the commitment now, and you will NOT be disappointed with the results!!
Let the captains or coaches know if you have any questions or concerns.

You already have #container set up for this, just move the closing tag for it down to the end of your markup.
I've closed your list items with
, added html and body closing tags, ... it's still invalid though. You can find more to fix if you check your code with the validators, see the links in my signature line below.

This might get you started though -
