Right side border on Adsense ad not showing

For some reason the right side border of an adsense ad is not showing. All other sides show the border.

The border shows fine when I look in FF4 and IE9.

Instead of padding that right side though, wouldn't margin make more sense? Like this - <div style="width: 250px; float:left; margin: -5px 15px 0 0;"><script type="text/javascript">

I tried that and it worked fine. I also figured out what my original problem was. I enlarged the text and the border showed.
