Hey Now!
I'm trying to find out if there's a way to play video files with an embedded Windows Media Player if the files have no extension. Basically, they'd just be WMV files that I don't want people keeping and converting. I know that they can just convert them if they find them, so I want to make it "tricky" to find them. I tried no extension name, then a fake extension name, but the player wouldn't start playing either of them.
Is there any way to trick Windows Media Player into playing an extension-free video file?
